Island Beach Resort is located on beautiful Hutchinson Island in Jensen Beach. These privately owned condominiums offer the comfort of your home at prices you would expect to pay for just a hotel room. The one-bedroom has two double beds or a king bed in the separate bedroom, a sleeper sofa in the living room, and a full kitchen complete with dishwasher, disposal, microwave, refrigerator, stove, cookware, dishes, glasses, and utensils. All have full cable TV and VCR. There are balconies off the bedroom as well as the living room.
The heated pool is located steps from an endless, uncrowded beach where you can sun bathe, swim, and fish to your heart's content. Work up an appetite? Barbecue at our picnic areas on either side of the pool or stroll over to Shuckers, our beachfront restaurant and lounge. They are open every day for lunch and dinner. The Tiki Deck and Tiki Bar is open for those who wish to dine directly on the ocean or listen to some live entertainment on weekend afternoons.
The area offers an array of activities. Right here on the Island is the Elliott Museum, the Energy Encounter, the Florida Oceanographic Society, and the House of Refuge which is the oldest building in Martin County. Take a short drive and you can visit the refurbished old towns of Jensen Beach and Stuart, with their quaint shops and restaurants, or a major mall. If you are interested in fishing or water sports, you've come to the right place! River fishing is available in the wide waters of the St. Lucie and Indian Rivers as well as deep sea fishing. Watersport rentals are available across the causeway on the Indian River. Golf courses are plentiful on the Treasure Coast and some offer discounts to our guests.
We are located about two hours from Miami and Orlando, and one hour from West Palm Beach on the Atlantic coast.
